The NewMac postgraduate Humanities conference is an interdisciplinary conference put together by research students from The University of Newcastle and Macquarie University. Submissions for the 2018 conference close on the 14th of May, and the conference is being held in Newcastle in July. The great thing about NewMac is that not only is it free and open to all Australian research students in the Humanities, but accepted papers have a chance for publication in an affiliated journal, Humanity. Publish or perish as they say, and of course our call for submissions is also currently open, so the opportunities are seemingly endless.
